As a professional photographer I need to spend countless hours shooting photos and working to improve outside of actual work. It is similar to that of elite athletes that practice for hours outside of the public eye to be the best that they can be. The one exception may be Allan Iverson and his “Practice” rant.
Back to the meaning of the post. One of my favourite lenses to use is a Canon 100mm F2.8 IS Macro lens. The macro feature allows me to take photos extremely close to a subject and it creates a very shallow depth of field. Every Monday, I will attempt to share new macro photos from the week. Although my focus is athletes, portraits and action, these photos will be of a vary greatly in content.

Thanks for checking out the first Monday Macro post. I look forward to sharing more with you soon.
